White Texas Sheet Cake


Cake:
2 cups butter
2 cups water
4 cups flour
2 cups sugar
4 eggs, beaten
1 cup sour cream
2 tsp. almond extract
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda

Boil water and butter. Set aside. Mix everything else in bowl. Add water and butter. Pour into greased jelly roll or cookie sheet pan. Bake at 375 for 20-25 minutes.

Frosting:
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup milk
4 and 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. almond extract

Heat butter and milk to a boil. Remove from heat. Add everything else.
